Beibit Zhukayev of Kazakhstan reaches ATP Challenger event quarterfinal in China
Beibit Zhukayev of Kazakhstan has advanced to the quarterfinal of the 2023 Shenzhen 2 ATP Challenger Men’s singles tournament, Kazinform Agency cites the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.
The Kazakhstani, ranked 302nd in the world, defeated the tournament’s top seed Thanasi Kokkinakis of Australia (69th world player) 6-3, 6-4 in the second round of the ATP Challenger event in China.
As earlier reported, Denis Yevseyev of Kazakhstan had defeated former world No 8 Fabio Fognini at the ATP Challenger tournament in China.
