Beijing celebrates 20th anniversary of Kazakh Armed Forces

BEIJING. May 5. KAZINFORM Official reception on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Kazakh Armed Forces took place at Kazakhstan's Embassy in People's Republic of China.

In his congratulatory speech military attaché of the Kazakh Defense Ministry to China major general Yedil Urazov spoke of Kazakhstan's achievements in political and socio-economic sectors and stressed the role of the armed forces in ensuring security of the country. He especially underlined Kazakhstan's peaceful policy and the meaning of its new military doctrine which is of defensive character.

Guests of the event enjoyed photo exposition and video clip on history of creation and present state of the Kazakh army.
