Beijing hosts roundtable dedicated to 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence
Kazakh Ambassador Ikram Adyrbekov told about the results achieved by Kazakhstan over the 20-year period of independence, important events and results of the Kazakh-Chinese relations development.
"From the first days of gaining independence our country adheres to the balanced multivector foreign policy course, occupying a strong position in the international arena as a regional power aimed at construction of stable and safe world," he noted.
Touching upon the Kazakh-Chinese interaction, I.Adyrbekov emphasized successful solution of the border issue, dynamical promotion on a matter of joint use of transboundary rivers and etc.
The Kazakh Ambassador noted signing the Declaration by Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus on the Eurasian Union establishment.
The Chinese experts expressed great interest in the processes in Kazakhstan. In particular, they were interested in activity of the Eurasian Union and expressed confidence in successful holding of the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan.
