Beijing hosts Welcome to Astana roadshow

Astana is set to develop and strengthen its tourism cooperation as part of the B2B meetings held with the participation of Kazakh and Chinese tour operators. On Thursday the capital of China hosted a Welcome to Astana roadshow, Kazinform Agency reports.

The Astana Development Centre showcases the country’s tourism potential to Chinese tour operators and business circles, as well as mass media.

The Astana Development Centre representatives told those gathered about the Kazakh capital city and its attractiveness to tourists. it plans to participate in tourist fairs, hold roadshows in China, and develop MICE tourism to boost cooperation between Astana and Beijing.

As earlier reported, 25 representatives of Kazakhstan’s tourism sector arrived in China to take part in the COTTM, China's leading outbound travel exhibition underway in Beijing between November 15 and 17.
