Belarus' CEC to monitor presidential election in Kazakhstan
MINSK. KAZINFORM - Representatives of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus will take part in monitoring the presidential election in Kazakhstan, BelTA learned from CEC Secretary Nikolai Lozovik.
"We have received an invitation from our Kazakhstani colleagues. The Belarusian delegation will include Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Lidia Yermoshina and CEC member Svetlana Katsubo," Nikolai Lozovik said.
The three candidates running for the presidential post include incumbent President Nursultan Nazarbayev from the Nur Otan (Radiant Fatherland) Party, candidate from Kazakhstan's Communist People's Party Turgun Syzdykov, and independent candidate Abelgazi Kusainov. The presidential election in Kazakhstan is scheduled for 26 April 2015, Kazinform refers to Belta.by.
