Belarus & Almaty trade turnover exceeded $ 240 million in 2013

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - In 2013 the trade turnover between Almaty and Belarus amounted to more than USD 240 million, this has been announced by Akhmetzhan Yesimov, Akim of Almaty, during the meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan Anatoly Nichkasov, the press service of the Akim reports.

A.Yesimov stressed that Almaty is actively developing cooperation with Belarus. Fifty three joint ventures and fifty three enterprises with the Belarusian capital are registered in the city. "Almaty is the financial and economic center of Kazakhstan. We are ready to collaborate and to further develop trade and economic cooperation with your country", said Yesimov.
