Belarus attends meeting of CIS financial control bodies in Astana

MINSK. September 6. KAZINFORM A Belarusian delegation headed by Chairman of the State Control Committee (SCC) Alexander Yakobson took part in the 13th meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of the Supreme Audit Institutions in Astana on 5 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

The agenda of the session included ten issues. Particular attention was paid to the role of the supreme audit institutions of the CIS states in auditing the use of government subsidies to agricultural producers.

The participants of the meeting shared the opinions on the practices applied in this field in the CIS countries. Alexander Yakobson made a report on the organization and practical aspects of the activities of the State Control Committee of Belarus, BelTA reports.

The final documents of the 13th meeting of the Council were signed. The parties agreed to hold the next session in Chisinau in October 2014.
