Belarus, Kazakhstan announce contest for sci-tech projects for 2012-2014

MINSK. December 19. KAZINFORM The State Committee for Science and Technology (SCST) of Belarus and the Education and Science Ministry of Kazakhstan have announced a joint contest for sci-tech projects for 2012-2014, BelTA learnt from the press service of the SCST.

According to BelTA, the contest has several categories: new materials, nanotechnologies and nanomaterials, biotechnologies, new technologies in agribusiness, information technologies and environmental protection. Applications should be submitted before 15 February 2012.

The contest of joint projects is organized in line with a cooperation agreement signed by the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus and the Education and Science Ministry of Kazakhstan on 3 June 1999.
