Belarus-Kazakhstan business cooperation council to meet in September

MINSK. August 15. KAZINFORM The first meeting of the business cooperation council of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Kazakhstani Chamber of Commerce and Industry will take place in Taldykorgan on 12-13 September, BelTA learnt from the BCCI.

The meeting of the council will be held as part of the 9th session of the Belarus-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation and the 2nd Belarus-Kazakhstan Business Forum. Attending the meeting will be companies of the two countries, international organizations and mass media.

According to the BCCI, the parties will discuss business development in agriculture, food industry, farm machine manufacturing, furniture production and other sectors, improvement of work of the trading houses in order to boost the sales of Belarusian goods. Besides, the parties will consider the issues regarding the interregional cooperation within the Single Economic Space, collaboration between business associations of the countries, new opportunities to develop regions and investment in traditional industries, development of regional cooperation and many other issues.

A business matchmaking session will be held after the plenary meeting.
