Belarus, Kazakhstan sign agreement on cooperation in architecture, town-planning, construction
The document envisages further strengthening and development of a mutually beneficial long-term partnership based on the principles of equality and independence of the states. The agreement stipulates joint work in economic research in the construction area. The parties will cooperate in the marketing study of regional markets of construction materials, construction parts and engineering equipment. Cooperation will be also advanced in the research of labor rate setting in construction and development of technological maps on innovation and industrial technologies of construction operations.
According to the ministry, Belarus and Kazakhstan enjoy robust cooperation in the construction area. Thus, not long ago there was implemented a project in Karaganda on the construction of the first Belarusian energy-efficient house in Kazakhstan. Design and technology concepts proposed by specialists of the Atayev Research Institute of Housing Construction for the project were highly praised by Kazakhstan and were maximally applied on the construction site.
As was reported, the inauguration of the house was followed by a meeting with UNDP representatives in Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Belarusian Atayev Research Institute of Housing Construction. Belarusian specialists were offered a wide range of projects including power-efficient housing construction projects in Astana. The parties discuss the construction of groups of houses and residential quarters, schools, kindergartens and other social facilities which can be designed with the use of Belarusian energy saving technologies, BelTA reports.
Apart from that, cooperation was also offered to Belarusian suppliers of the relevant equipment and construction organizations.
