Belarus, Kazakhstan to intensify contacts
The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic sector, considered industrial, sci-tech and investment cooperation between the two countries.
Special attention was focused on the cooperation agenda in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The parties agreed on the need to develop a set of measures for stimulating the growth of mutual trade between the EEU member states, updating the list of existing barriers in mutual trade, improving the activity of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The meeting also considered the implementation of the roadmap of the bilateral trade and economic cooperation for 2014-2016. The parties confirmed their interest in the participation of Belarusian project and construction organizations in the implementation of Kazakhstan's infrastructure projects. The parties also agreed to intensify sectoral contacts and develop bilateral cooperation.
