Belarus President calls on all OSCE nuclear states to provide absolute security guarantees to non-nuclear member states

ASTANA. December 2. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ At the OSCE Summit in Astana President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called on the nuclear states of the OSCE to provide non-nuclear member states with absolute security guarantees.

"We stand for the establishment of a single security system inside the OSCE responsibility area. It would help give all the participating states clear and equal guarantees in this field", A. Lukashenko said.

The President of Belarus reminded that yesterday in Astana Belarus and the US adopted statement on joint measures for prevention of nuclear proliferation. "This is an important and definite contribution to common cause and establishment of security in Europe and the whole world", he resumed.
