Belarusian textiles presented at international expos in Almaty

MINSK. March 2. KAZINFORM Belarusian textile products are showcased at international expos that are taking place in Almaty on 1-4 March, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

Kazakhstan is playing host to the 10th international exhibition of home textiles and the 12th International Houseware and Home Technology Exhibition.

Taking part in the solemn opening ceremonies was a representative of the Belarusian Embassy in Kazakhstan. The expos brought together about 200 companies from 20 countries worldwide, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, India, Iran, Turkey and Japan.

Belarus is represented by Baranovichi Cotton Production Amalgamation, Orsha Linen Mill, Milavitsa and Conte Spa. Belarusian products are also available for sale and are very popular with the visitors, BelTA reports.

With a view to boost the exports of Belarusian textile products to Kazakhstan, marketing services of Belarusian companies hold business meetings and talks with trading companies and business associations of Kazakhstan.
