Berlin: Kazakhstan delegation briefs foreign counterparts with parliamentarism development and prospects

BERLIN. July 3. KAZINFORM - Kazakh parliamentary delegation including Serik Akylbay, Chairman of Committee on constitutional Legislation, the Judiciary and law enforcement agencies of the Senate of Kazakh Parliament and Rakhmet Mukashev, Chairman of Committee on Legislation and Judicial Reform of the Majilis of Kazakh Parliament, had a working visit to Germany on July 1-2.

In Berlin, the delegation participated in the third International Conference of Parliamentary Committees on Legal Issues " Legislation way - role and influence of the participating institutions". The event, organized by the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation together with the Legal Committee of Bundestag, was attended by representatives from more than 30 countries.

Delegates discussed the legislative process, shared their experience in the field of law-making, broached their opinions on various aspects of parliamentary work, reviewed current issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Kazakh MPs briefed their foreign colleagues on the condition and prospects of development of parliamentarism in the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as legislation features. It was emphasized that the legislation of Kazakhstan was improving and developing dynamically to meet all international public law standards.

Within the Conference in the fields of bilateral meetings and negotiations, the sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues of inter-parliamentary and judicial collaboration.
