Berlin to hold Kazakh-German business forum

ALMATY. January 30. KAZINFORM Leading domestic companies and organizations will take part in the Kazakh-German business forum in Berlin on February 3; Kazinform refers to the organizer – the Kazakh Trade-Industrial Chamber.

The event is planned within an official visit of Kazakhstan?s President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Germany and opening of ?The Year of Kazakhstan in Germany?. As reported earlier, this visit will be held on February 2-5. The Kazakh-German diplomatic relations were established in February 1992. Bilateral ties between the countries in the spheres of policy, economy and culture strengthen every year. Especially the trade-economic cooperation develops dynamically. Germany is a key partner of Kazakhstan in Europe, and Kazakhstan is an important partner of Germany in Central Asia. The volume of trade turnover between the countries reached EURO 4.7 bln in 2007. Germany invested in Kazakhstan about EURO 0.5 bln, Kazakhstan to Germany ? EURO 1.5 bln. 160 German companies and over 400 enterprises with the German participation function in Kazakhstan.
