Best mass media workers honored at Akorda presidential residence

ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM Today, Secretary of State Marat Tazhin has awarded presidential prizes, grants and letters of gratitude to mass media workers in Astana.

During the solemn ceremony at the Akorda presidential residence, Marat Tazhin congratulated those present on their professional holiday and noted that only worthy specialists had been awarded.

Journalism is a unique profession that bridges different types of activity. This is somewhat a form of social art. Its mission is to generate new ideas," M. Tazhin said.

Editor-in-Chief of Alash Ainasy newspaper Serik Zhanbolat and Director General of Eurasia TV channel were bestowed with the presidential prize.

The presidential grants were presented to correspondent of Khabar New Agency Artyom Istomin and host of Syrlasu TV program Aigerim Abildina.
