Best teacher of 2008 receives key of apartment

ASTANA. February 24. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Akim of Astana city Imangali Tasmagambetov handed a key of apartment to Gaukhar Shaldybayeva, the best teacher of 2008, Kazinform correspondent reports.

G. Shaldybayeva is a pre- school teacher of School-Gymnasium 4. Her work experience is 10 years. Akim also presented laptops and premiums in the size of monthly salary to six finalists of the contest. The first, second and third places won teacher of history of School-Lyceum 35 Bakhytgyl Syzdykova and teacher of geography of ?Zerde? School Kuralay Baitazhikova, teacher of history of School-Lyceum 54 Leila Abdullayeva and teacher of Kazakh language of Scholl-Lyceum 52 Raushan Saparbayeva, teacher of chemistry of Math -Economic Lyceum 1 Oksana Dyuk and teacher of geography of School-Gymnasium 2 Rishad Mikhalev respectively. All in all, 129 teachers from 43 schools took part in the contest ?The Teacher of the Year - 2008?.
