Biathlete Arina Kryukova claims bronze at 2025 FISU World Winter University Games
Kazakhstani biathlete Arina Kryukova claimed bronze medal at the 2025 FISU World Winter University Games in Torino, Italy, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Kazakhstan Biathlon Federation.
“Arina Kryukova covered the distance in 23 minutes and 17 seconds. At the first shooting range, she demonstrated perfect shooting, hitting all targets. However, she missed two targets when shooting in standing position,” a statement from the Federation reads.
Nevertheless, Krykova managed to keep the pace and grabbed bronze medal.
Earlier, biathlete Nikita Akimov won the 3rd gold medal for Team Kazakhstan in the Men’s 10km Sprint at the 2025 FISU World Winter University Games.
