Big Amber Ring to connect Belarus, Lithuania, Russia, Poland
MINSK. August 27. KAZINFORM A Big Amber Ring water route will go through the towns of Belarus, Lithuania, Russia and Poland, BelTA learn from Viktor Yankovenko, director of the tourism department of the Sport and Tourism Ministry of Belarus; Kazinform cites BelTA.
According to him, the project has been recently discussed by representatives of Belarus, Lithuania, Russia and Poland in Kaliningrad. The route is planned to pass through Polessk and Sovetsk (the Russian Federation), Kaunas and Druskininkai (Lithuania) and Grodno, Slonim, Pinsk and Brest (Belarus). "All participating countries are eager to develop this large-scale project," Viktor Yankovenko said; Kazinform refers to BelTA.
