Bill Clinton to attend VI Astana Economic Forum

ASTANA. March 14. KAZINFORM Former President of the United States Bill Clinton is expected to participate in the VI Astana Economic Forum set to be held on 22-24 May in the Kazakh capital.

Senator Serik Nugerbekov made the news public at a press conference in Astana on Thursday.

"The Club de Madrid (Club of Madrid) is helping us organize the forum. Last December, we met with the 42^nd U.S. President Mr. Bill Clinton within the framework of the annual session of the Club de Madrid. He kindly accepted our invitation to attend the 6^th Astana Economic Forum," Mr. Nugerbekov said.

About 100 delegates from 60 countries, including President of the UN General Assembly Mr. Vuk Jeremić, ten Nobel Prize winners, heads of international organizations, heads of countries and governments, and businessmen, have already confirmed their attendance.
