Bill on ratification of CIS coop agr't in combating theft of cultural property discussed

ASTANA. March 3. KAZINFORM. The Committee of the Kazakh Parliament?s Senate for legislation and legal issues discussed a draft law on ratification of the Agreement on cooperation of the CIS member states in the struggle against the theft of cultural property and ensuring its return; Kazinform refers to the House?s press service.

The document provides with the development of partnership relations aimed at improving the legal framework, monitoring the crime wave and working out mechanisms of interaction in taking measures on countering the theft of the cultural property, ensuring search and return of the cultural property. The draft law was submitted for the Senate?s consideration.
