Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzunushaliev awarded Kazakhstan's 2nd degree Dostyk Order
Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzunushaliev was awarded the 2-nd Degree Dostyk Order, awarded to him by the Decree of Kazakhstan’s President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, Kabar reported,
The award was presented by Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Rapil Dzhoshybaev, according to the Bishkek Mayor’s Office.
This high award was given for his comprehensive assistance in the development of full cooperation between the capitals of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
In his speech, Ambassador Dzhoshybaev noted the significant contribution of Aibek Dzunushaliev in strengthening friendly ties and the development of partnerships between Bishkek and Astana.
In turn, the Bishkek mayor, accepting the award, expressed gratitude for the high trust and noted that it was a great honor for him to receive the Dostyk Order.
“This is not only the recognition of my efforts, but also the merit of the whole team working for the benefit of the development of our cities. Bishkek and Astana will continue to strengthen cooperation and contribute to friendship between our peoples,” Aibek Dzhunushaliev added.
“The sides also discussed topical issues and potential joint projects,” the report said.
