Blast rocks S Afghan town, kills 1, wounds 4
LASHKAR GAH, Afghanistan. November 8. KAZINFORM A bomb blast rocked Lashkar Gah the capital of Helmand province in south Afghanistan Monday, leaving one person dead and wounding four others, all civilians, spokesman for provincial administration Daud Ahmadi said. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
"The insurgents planted a mine next to a shop in a market and detonated it by remote control at 01:00 a.m. local time as a result one civilian was killed and four others sustained injuries," Ahmadi told Xinhua.
He also blamed the enemies of peace, a term used against Taliban insurgents, but the outfit has not to make comment yet. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
