In addition, the number of the universities participating in Bolashak has been reduced from 480 to 200, the Vice Minister added. The Commission also considered the issues of granting and depriving of the President?s scholarship. 294 students out 360 won the contest. The most popular specialties are informatics, information technologies, economics, telecommunications, energy, public policy etc. The most popular countries are the USA (215 applications), Canada (243), Great Britain (356) and Singapore (17) etc.
