Bordyuzha informs on preparation of Foreign Ministers' Council joint meeting in Sochi

ASTANA. September 5. KAZINFORM - In Astana there was a meeting of Foreign Affairs Minister of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov with the Secretary General of Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha, the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

There took place exchange of views on topical issues relating to foreign policy coordination within the organization. In addition, the parties discussed the main trends in the development of the international situation, and a number of other pressing issues in the field of security in the area of ​​responsibility of the organization.

Bordyuzha informed the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the progress of preparations for the upcoming joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, Defence Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils, as well as the Collective Security Council of the CSTO on September 23 in Sochi.

The main themes of the September meeting will be deepening the political and military cooperation within the organization, the development of measures to counter modern threats and challenges.
