Breakthrough projects amounting to KZT 212 bln implemented in Pavlodar region

PAVLODAR OBLAST. February 7. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ Four breakthrough macro projects amounting to KZT 212.4 bln are implemented in Pavlodar oblast; Kazinform reports.

Construction of the second stage of the electrolysis plant of metallic aluminum continues. 1500 people work there, so far the situation is stable. ?Kaustik? JSC will build on the basis of the Pavlodar chemical plant chloralkali production, installation of imported equipment will be started in April. 500 workers will be engaged in the construction. It is planned to put into operation the enterprise at the beginning of 2010, 420 jobs will be created. The plant with capacity 400 thousand tons of calcined soda per annum is one of the breakthrough projects of Pavlodar. Construction will be started in the second half of the year, the plant will be fullly operational in 2011. Construction of the third power generating unit will be started in the spring at the Ekibastuz state district power station-2 in Ekibastuz.
