Brussels to host 10th meeting Kazakhstan-EU justice subcommittee

KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ On Tuesday, November 29, Brussels will host the 10th meeting of Kazakhstan-EU justice and law and order subcommittee under the chairmanship of the 1st deputy Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Jogan Merkel and head of the Unit for Central Asia in the European Commission's Directorate General for External Relations Victor Andres Maldonado, the Kazakh Embassy to Belgium told Kazinform Agency.

Representatives of the foreign, interior, justice, education and science ministries, National Security Committee, Agency for fighting economic and corruption-related crimes, reps of the EU and European foreign service are expected to attend it.

The parties are supposed also to approve the protocol of the previous, the 9^th meeting of the subcommitee, held in Astana last November 10. Besides, those gathered are expected to focus on urgent issues concerning migration and border management, Kazakh-EU visa issues, the EU initiatives of migration governance and protection of migrant's rights, so on.
