Budapest held reception on 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence
The event was held with participation of heads of the Hungarian President's Administration, Prime Minister's Office, ministries and departments, parliamentarians of the National Assembly, former ambassadors of Hungary to Kazakhstan, heads of regions of Hungary, representatives of public-political, cultural and business circles, diplomatic corps, intelligentsia and Kazakh Diaspora.
Kazakh Ambassador Rashid Ibrayev informed the gathered of the public-political and economic reforms in the country achieved over the years of independence. He emphasized that Kazakhstan was able to strengthen statehood, preserve the unity of the people and create a modern market economy.
Since establishing diplomatic relations the volume of trade turnover increased tenfold.
Head of the Hungarian Prime Minister's Office Mihaly Varga highly estimated achievements of our country over these years. "It is a result of a wise policy of interethnic concord and multi-vector diplomacy conducting under leadership of Nursultan Nazarbayev," he noted.
Hungarian Minister for Rural Development Sándor Fazekas noted that on threshold of the anniversary Kazakhstan entered a new level of international cooperation. Kazakhstan's presidency of the OSCE, SCO and OIC demonstrates recognition by the world's community of Astana's foreign political course.
Representatives of the Hungarian political establishment and diplomatic corps conveyed greetings to the Kazakh President and the Kazakhstani people on the jubilee of independence.
