Budget support for agro-industrial complex to increase by 30% in 2025
During the Majilis meeting, Finance Minister Madi Takiyev emphasized that a total of 2.1 trillion tenge has been allocated for the development of the real economy, with the highest priority being given to the agro-industrial complex, for which 635 billion tenge has been set aside in the budget, Kazinform News Agency reports.
“In 2025, the regions will be allocated 7.5 trillion tenge from the national budget, representing an increase of 405 billion tenge in line with the proposed amendments. The allocation represents approximately 30% of the total budget expenditures,” Madi Takiyev stated.
The budget allocates 568 billion tenge for the development of transport industry in 2025, with 423 billion tenge earmarked for the road sector.
Expenditure on water resources management has increased by 59% and currently amounts to 137 billion tenge. Furthermore, expenditure is expected to reach 68 billion tenge in 2026 and 54 billion tenge in 2027.
Defense agencies' expenditure for 2025 is planned at 2.7 trillion tenge, representing an increase of 109 billion tenge.
Earlier it was reported that 675 billion tenge will be allocated from the budget for compulsory social health insurance in 2025.
