Budgetary funds for holding of Asian Games not to fall under correcting: PM
ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbai/ All budgetary funds, which are foreseen for holding of 2011 Asian Winter Games, are to be entirely allocated. Issues connected with the Asian Games will not fall under correcting. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov announced it at a Collegium of the Kazakh Ministry of Tourism and Sport; Kazinform reports.
The Premier noted that the state will execute its all international obligations on holding of the Asian Games. ?These are our liabilities. Kazakhstan has an international authority, because of it the Asian Games will be carried out anyway. All entities connected with this event should be put into commission in time. Your task is to use correctly resources allocated to the Ministry and control over absorption of transfers, which were allocated for these purposes by administrations of Astana and Almaty cities?, the Prime Minister said to Minister of Tourism and Sport T.Dosmukhambetov.
?The crisis will end some day. The Agenda has an issue on holding of the Olympics in Kazakhstan in the nearest perspective. We should consider the Asian games as a preparatory stage for this?, K.Massimov emphasized.
The prime Minister paid attention to further use of entities of the Asian Games after its holding. ?After finishing of the Asian Games these objects should not be out of commission. Study experience of Beijing and other cities on using of objects for holding of the Games for commercial purposes?, K.Massimov said.
T.Dosmukhambetov noted that holding of the Asian Games on the highest level is a task of the Ministry and the whole country. ?Holding of the Asian Games will be useful for formation of an image of Kazakhstan at the continent?, the Minister said.
