"The body of a 25-year-old has been pulled out of the rubbles this morning. The death toll in the building collapse tragedy in Lalita Park area of Laxmi Nagar in the east of the national capital is now 70," the official said.

Meanwhile, the Delhi government Wednesday ordered a judicial probe into the incident. Former Delhi High Court Judge Lokeshwar Prashad will conduct the probe within 90 days.

"The probe will fix responsibility, both individual and institutional, for the collapse of the building and indicate the measures required to improve the responses and prevent such incidents in future," a statement said.

The building that collapsed on Monday housed mostly poor migrant families, working as laborers, from the eastern Indian states of Bihar and West Bengal.
