Building of rural akimat burnt down in N Kazakhstan region
A building of a rural akimat (administration) burnt down in Voskresenovka village of the North Kazakhstan region last night, Kazinform News Agency reports.
As Dmitry Rastikhin, deputy chief of the emergencies department, said the fire started in a boiler room and then spread onto the wooden building of the akimat. The roof of the building burnt down completely and collapsed. The fire was extinguished. The cause of the blaze is being investigated. The preliminary version is violation of fire safety rules in operating the heating system.
The fire covered the area of about 80 square meters. The nearest fire station is located 12 kilometers away from Voskresenovka village.
