ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Bulgaria has decided to ease visa regimes for citizens of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Georgia, this was stated on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria.

This decision was made by Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov and Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova. The country will issue 1-year short-term double or multiple visas for the purpose of "organized tourism" for those who have applied for a visa before. Owners of property in Bulgaria will take the advantage too. "Simplification of the visa regime is one of the measures to counter the negative trend to reduce the number of early bookings from countries in the region", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry has sent appropriate instructions to diplomatic and consular missions.
