ASTANA. February 8. KAZINFORM Bulgaria is simplifying the visa regime for the Kazakhstani citizens. The press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The Government of Bulgaria adopted a decision on establishment of a non-visa regime for holders of common (Schengen) visas, valid long-term stay visas and residence permits issued by the member states, which fully apply the Schengen law as well as Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Entry and short stay with the documents listed above will be applied until the full accession of Bulgaria to the Schengen area and will be limited to the period of stay permitted in these documents.

So, having a Schengen visa, the citizens of Kazakhstan will not need an extra visa during traveling to Bulgaria. It is expected that this will lead to increase of inflow of the Kazakh tourists to Bulgaria.
