Bulgarian officials got acquainted with ?Road to Europe? program
ASTANA. February 19. KAZINFORM Charge d'affaires of Kazakhstan Serzhan Abdykarimov held meetings with Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev, Chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation Lazarus Gruyev, Prosecutor General Boris Velchev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on education and science Lutvi Mestan, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bozhidar Bozhinov, Mayor of Bansko Alexander Kravarov in Sophia this week, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
Within the meetings the Kazakh diplomat informed of Kazakhstan's main goals aimed at the strategic partnership with European counties, including Bulgaria, in different directions of trade-economic, technological, energy, humanitarian and legal spheres. It was noted that the implementation of ?Road to Europe? Program will allow taking the cooperation between the countries to a higher level, that complies with the Kazakh President's commission to activate Kazakhstan?s interaction with the states of the Black Sea region, where Bulgaria plays one of the key roles.
Bulgarian officials were also informed of the fact that along with the economic transformation Kazakhstan's Government holds political reforms serving the strategic interests of the country and taking into account the national specifics of the development.
The Kazakh diplomat briefed on antirecessionary measures of the Kazakh Government, aimed at further developing the financial sector, construction, small and medium business, agricultural complex, infrastructural projects of the country.
The diplomat also informed of the international initiatives of Kazakhstan in the sphere of international security, achievements in the field of international accord.
The Bulgarian Prime Minister highly appraised the current Kazakh-Bulgarian relations and confirmed readiness of Bulgaria to extend interaction upon different issues, including the realization of ?Road to Europe? program. He stressed the necessity of further strengthening of cooperation in the field of ensuring regional and global security, noting Kazakhstan's leading role in Central Asia.
As the Head of the Bulgarian Government noted, Bulgaria is interested in the development and diversification of trade-economic cooperation with Kazakhstan, mutual attraction of investments to infrastructural, tourist and balneological projects.
