'Bus' preventive activity starts in Astana

ASTANA. October 29. KAZINFORM - In Astana have started preventive operations called "Bus", says the press service of the Traffic Police Department of Internal Affairs of Astana.

"In Astana In order to reduce number of accidents on the roads of Astana, preventing violations of traffic rules, observance of traffic discipline among the drivers of regular passenger services, from October 29 to November 2, there will be conducted preventive operations called "Bus", the statement reads.

"Based on the analysis of crashes involving public transport to all bus fleets there have been sent information leaflets about the state of accidents in passenger transport and notification of the integrated measures to prevent and suppress violations of the Highway Rules, which cause traffic accidents", informs the agency.

For today in the capital in the field of transportation of passengers in public transport there are 9 businesses that serve 51 bus routes around the city, with 942 operating buses.
