'Business Strategy in Central Asia: Kazakhstan' took place in Italy

ASTANA. September 27. KAZINFORM - September 25 the city of Udine in the Italian Autonomous Region of Friuli -Venezia Giulia hosted a regional business forum titled "Business Strategy in Central Asia: Kazakhstan". The event was jointly organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Italy and the Chamber of Commerce of Udine.

The event was also attended by the Prefect of Udine, the first leaders of the police, financial Guard and Carabinieri Udine, employees of Italian export credit agency «SACE» and representatives of local companies already successfully operating in various sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan - WWTS Italia Srl, TUVIA Italia SpA, CARLIEUKLIMA SpA, etc.

During his speech the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Italy Andrian Elemesov informed local businesses on social and economic achievements of Kazakhstan and created vast opportunities for foreign investors in our country.

Special attention was paid to promising new tasks designated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the Eurasian forum of emerging markets "Accession of Kazakhstan in the 30 most developed countries of the world". It was noted that certain high end and new approaches aimed at achieving key targets have been laid down in "Kazakhstan - 2050" Strategy.

President of the Chamber of Commerce of Udine Giovanni da Pozzo stressed the high importance of the market for Italy and for Europe as a whole. It has been pointed out that today's success and achievements of Kazakhstan showed loyalty to the Government of Kazakhstan the selected socio-economic way. Clear indication, in his view, is a steady annual growth of Kazakhstan's economy by five percent or more, which was observed even in the years of heavy global crisis.

During the discussion forum participants stressed the importance of accelerated innovation being promoted in Kazakhstan program.

Mr.Elemesov also held a meeting with the prefect of the province of Udine Ivo Salemme, the assessor of the Municipality of Udine Agostino de Mayo. As part of the negotiations there took place debate of topical issues of bilateral regional cooperation.
