Busy street becomes runway for plane's emergency landing
ASTANA. November 15. KAZINFORM A small plane flown by two French pilots landed Sunday on a busy arterial street in the Czech city of Brno, Kazinform refers to Trend News.
Local media reports described the plane landing between two cars but avoiding a collision.
One wing of the plane was broken off when it struck a post along the roadside.
The street was closed for a time while the incident was investigated and wreckage was recovered.
The pilots, who took off from Hamburg and were bound for Hungary, had already radioed about problems with the aircraft's fuel supply, Kazinform cites Trend News. See www.en.trend.az
