By 2015, issuance of permits for SMEs to be converted into e-format

ASTANA. March 12. KAZINFORM Over the next two years the issuance of permits for business entities will be converted into electronic format, Deputy Minister of Regional Development Kairat Uskenbayev said Tuesday at a meeting of the Government.

"Within two years the procedure of issuance of all permits will be automated," Uskenbayev stated.

He recalled that in 2012 the issue of all licenses was transferred to e-format, issue of 80 most sought-after permits was automated.

According to the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, the number of permits for business reduced by one-third in 2011 and further by 30% in 2012. In addition, the paper document flow in this area decreased by nearly 2 million items.

Also, according to Uskenbayev, this year it is planned to optimize and implement a single list of all the permissions for the business, as well as establish standard authorization procedures.

"A corresponding bill, which is now being developed by the interdepartmental commission, will be submitted. This draft law will be a direct mechanism for regulating the number of permits and will constrain their growth, " the Deputy Minister said.
