Bypass road to be constructed in Karaganda by 2017
KARAGANDA. November 15. KAZINFORM — In Karaganda it is planned to construct a bypass road 44 km long to relieve the city from transit traffic, this has been announced by Abaydilda Sanaubarov, the head of the Department on passenger transport and highways of Karaganda region.
"Today the Karaganda city is choking from transit traffic. Every day about 50 thousand units of transit traffic enters the regional center 20 percent of which is heavy machinery. The Ministry of Transport and Communications has supported our suggestion on the construction of bypass road", said Sanaubarov at a briefing in the press center of regional Akimat.
According to his words competitive procedures for construction documents work out are being carried out.
"The road will be 44 km long. The road construction will be completed in 2017", said the Head of the Department.
