Cambridge Education Group holds Olympiad for Kazakh students
ASTANA. February 25. KAZINFORM Over 200 students from 23 private and public schools of Kazakhstan took part in the first round of educational Olympiad, first held in Kazakhstan by one of the leading private educational groups of England – Cambridge Education Group (CEG), Kazinform refers to the press service of the organization.
50 students succeeded in the first tround and on March 7, 2009 will participate in the second round. The final stage of the Olympiad will be held on April 9, 2009.
Students, who win in three rounds of the Olympiad will be awarded the scholarship amounted to GBP 46 thousand that gives right to study free of fee-paying in colleges of Cambridge and Canterbury for two years by A-level and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programs. The study and successful graduation from one of these programs will allow to enter one of the leading universities of England.
