Centers on study of religious issues set up in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Special centers on study of religious issues are to be set up in the regions of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Religious Affairs Marat Azilkhanov said.

"Some of the centers already function in eight provinces of Kazakhstan, some will be unveiled in the first quarter of 2014. They are to help local authorities and administrations boost their effectiveness," Mr. Azilkhanov noted at the Monday extended session of the agency.
According to him, the work of a center that consults citizens on the religious issues is underway. It has already received 400 calls via its hotline - 114.
