Central Asian journalists discussed interaction of mass media and human rights NGOs
BISHKEK-OSH. February 28. KAZINFORM /Arnur Rakhymbekov/ A training for journalists from Central Asian countries titled: "Interaction of human rights non-governmental organizations and mass media" was organized by the Institute for War and Peace Reporting in Osh on February 25-26.
The main purpose of the event was to train journalists and representatives of the human rights NGOs to interact effectively in covering human rights issues.
The participants of the training discussed different mechanisms of cooperation between the mass media and the human rights NGOs. The participants were also familiarized with the main principles and methods of information collection taking into account the human rights features.
