Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan accredited 48 more international observers
The Central Election Commission adopted the regulation "On accreditation of observers from foreign states and international organizations to monitor the early presidential elections in Kazakhstan scheduled for April 26, 2015".
According to the regulation, 48 observers from nine foreign countries and one international organization proposed by the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs were accredited by the Commission.
Four of them are from Norway, three from Austria and Serbia, two people from Bulgaria and Lithuania, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Hungary, Latvia and Slovakia sent one representative each. Besides, the OSCE/ODIHR mission sent 30 observers from 18 countries.
All of the accredited observes will receive identity documents proving their status.
Thus, 83 observers from OSCE/ODIHR and CIS missions and 18 foreign states are accredited by the Central Election Commission as of March 28, 2015.
Besides, the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs accredited 98 representatives of foreign mass media from 19 countries on a permanent basis.
The Central Election Commission accredits observers from foreign countries till April 20, 2015.
