Chairman of Kazakh Constitutional Council took part in conference in Egypt

ASTANA. March 16. KAZINFORM International Conference devoted to the 40th anniversary of the constitutional judicial system of the Arabian Republic of Egypt, organized by the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt was held in Cairo.

Chairmen of international constitutional associations and supreme judges from more than 40 countries took part in the conference, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry. The participants of the conference discussed the issues of constitutional protection of rights and political liberties, and protection of the principles of social justice which are outlined in the main laws of the countries. Chairman of Kazakh Constitutional Council Igor Rogov represented our country at the conference, and delived his keynote speech ?Constitutional Framework or Protection of Rights and Liberties of Man and Citizen in Kazakhstan?. He told about the results of implementation of the UN program documents on human rights protection, and commented on international human rights conventions ratified and signed by Kazakhstan in 2008. As part of the conference Rogov held meetings with President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak, Chairman of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt Abdel Wahed and other participants of the conferences and discussed prospects for cooldown.
