Chairman of Majilis Committee, US Ambassador meet

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Chairman of the Majilis Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security Nurbakh Rustemov has held a meeting with US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Kazakhstan Richard Hougland; Kazinform reports.

Within the meeting a number of issues, which touch upon further development and strengthening of partnership relations between the two countries, was discussed. N.Rustemov noted positive dynamics of development of the Kazakh-US cooperation in all spheres, told about legislative activity, which is carried out in our country for further democratization of the Kazakh society. R.Hougland, in his turn, noted that mutual understanding between Kazakhstan and the USA is lightened by similarity of foreign policy of both countries, which is based on a principle of multi-vectorpolicy. He assured that the USA supports Kazakhstan in its intention to join the World Trade Organization.
