Chef from Kazakhstan to showcase dishes at Michelin star restaurant
Paris’s Frederic Simonin restaurant, boasting a Michelin star and the title of "Meilleur Ouvrier de France," is to hold today a four-hands dinner, hosting chef from Kazakhstan Artem Kantsev, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
Artem Kantsev is to team up with Frédéric Simonin, the author of La cuisine d'un chef engage book, who glorifies the French cuisine globally, promoting social and eco-friendly gastronomy, for a unique four-hands dinner in Paris.
Renowned chef from Kazakhstan Artem Kantsev uses a mixture of modern technologies, trends and traditional and local products from the Kazakh regions to offer his clientele a unique gastronomic experience and interpretation of Kazakh cuisine in a new light.
Through this project and gastronomic diplomacy, the QazElles Kazakh Women’s Association in France seeks to contribute to the tendency for rapprochement between the two nations, which is particularly relevant after President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to Paris early this month. This unique experience with the Michelin starred restaurant is huge for Kazakhstan’s hospitality industry, which, we hope, will lead to further cooperation with the best restaurants of France, said Larisa Indzhudzhyan, Honorary President of the QazElles Association of Kazakh Women in France.
