?Chevron? to build two plants in Atyrau

ATYRAU. March 5. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ ?Chevron? Company plans to built two new plants on production of tubular goods in Atyrau?, top manager of ?Chevron MunaiGaz Inc? Mendigali Sappayev has told today to First Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev, paying working visit to Atyrau region.

According to M.Sappayev, establishment of the plant on production of reinforced-plastic pipes for hot-water supply and heating is on the stage of detail design now. The investments to the projects are up to USD 14 mln. The capacity of the plant is 3 thousand tons of pipes per year. Another plant that is on the stage of design now will produce pipe fittings. The total cost of the project is up to USD 40 mln.
