China hosted the 1st Kurultai of Kazakh students
100 delegates from five cities in China, representing student organizations "Jas Kyran", "Kazakh connection", "Kaz-Union", "Association of Kazakhstan students", "Altyn Orda" attended the congress.
Besides, the conference of Kurultai delegates with the participation of adviser of the Kazakh Embassy in China Murat Yesmagambetov, which discussed the status and problems of Kazakhstani student organizations in China, the prospects for cooperation and collaboration of organizations, as well as the state youth policy of Kazakhstan, was held.
Kazakh representatives of China student organizations signed a Memorandum of goodwill, whose main aim is to bring together young people in the universal organization of events aimed at raising the patriotic spirit, improving the image of Kazakh students abroad, as well as the formation of a stable civil position.
According to the representative of the Center for International Programs in Asia and Oceania Kaiyrzhan Yermanov, kurultai will become traditional, annual event and will be the main platform for dialogue, interaction and exchange of experience between the student organizations of China."
