Chinese Spring festivities be held in Astana

ASTANA. February 6. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ ?A number of cultural activities, devoted to the traditional Chinese Spring Festival will be held in Astana?, First Secretary of Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan Li Chzhi said, Kazinform reports.

?The Embassy of People?s Republic of China in the Republic of Kazakhstan holds a number of events, devoted to one of the most important Chinese holidays in Astana. Concert of Chinese dance and songs will be held in the Palace of Peace and Accord on February 12?, L.Chzhi said. ?Exhibition of Chinese characters will be held in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan on February 20 as well. The exhibition will be opened by March 3, 2009?, he added. The events were organized by the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan together with the Kazakh National Academic Library.
